DESCRIPTION
A contemporary carpet that is a conceptual masterpiece. The pattern is inspired by the monads of the great German philosopher and mathematician Gottfried Leibniz. According to Leibniz, “every monad is nothing more than a simple substance that enters compounds; simple, that is, without parts”, a sort of metaphysical atom, a complete and indestructible being. An entity that also gives consistency to human nature, as this exciting hand-knotted wool rug suggests.
