DESCRIPTION
A fun and “tasty” tribute to the typical stuffed egg pasta, originally from the Italian cities of Bologna and Modena. The design of this hand-knotted wool rug recalls the colour that the egg yolks give to the pasta. The shapes of the individual “tortellini” can be seen on the pile, which are traditionally carved by hand by housewives, using a special tool to cut a thin sheet of pasta.
