DESCRIPTION
Starting from a photograph, Massimo Gardone manages to create a fascinating pattern. A floral carpet that would appear to be the negation of the idea of the rose as we know it, yet recalls it with vivid force. The carpet is hand-knotted and made of wool and silk. The flowers in the design, which have an oriental flavour, appear to be hand sculpted by the artistic flair of a sculptor.
