We all know the works of Piet Mondriaan, the brilliant Dutch painter who, together with Theo van Doesburg, founded the artistic movement of neo-plasticism. Samuele Mazza dedicates a tribute to him, designing a wool rug that re-proposes the perpendicular lines and geometric colour fields in primary colours (red, yellow, blue) with black and white. A painting rather than a rug, capable of underlining the search for balance and formal perfection that animated the Dutch artist’s work.
