DESCRIPTION
Marco Carini’s second tribute to the great Mark Rothko, one of the most famous painters of the twentieth century, whose works are so appreciated that they are auctioned at impressive prices. A contemporary carpet that is also important for its manufacturing technique: the hemp is hand-knotted and the fibres are unevenly coloured, precisely to recreate the effect of uneven colouring so dear to the American painter.
