Front Design

The Swedish design
group Front are: Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken and Anna Lindgren.
Fronts work are based
on common discussions and experiments and the objects often communicate a
story.

As an examle, they
have assigned part of the design process to animals, computers or machines.
They have made a constantly changing interior, created objects with explosions,
robotic furniture and a range of furniture inspired by their fascination with
magic.

Collaborations is an important part of their work. They have
worked with robot engineers, a chainsaw sculptor, magicians, glass blowers,
electro engineers, snakes and pyro-technicians amongst many others.

Front have created products for among others:

Kartell, Established and Sons,
Moroso, Moooi, Porro, and Höganäs Keramik
